BY SACK COMPANY

At their annual meeting in January, the Statesboro-Bulloch Chamber of Commerce recognized Sack Company as the Employer of the Year, an honor accepted by Paul Roesel, CEO, and Madison Roesel, CPO. The prestigious award is a testament to the company’s commitment to excellence from their internal team as well as the many clients, partners, suppliers, and communities who have supported them for more than 78 years.

During the acceptance speech, Paul Roesel expressed his gratitude, saying, “I just want to say how flattered and appreciative we are to be able to receive this award. Our success is intrinsically tied to the individuals who make up our team. Their unwavering commitment, passion and talent are the driving force behind our achievements. I am fortunate and honored to work alongside the people I do.” This acknowledgment reflects Sack’s recognition on the importance of its workforce in achieving success.

Sack Company has long been a significant contributor to employment in Bulloch County, consistently ranking among the largest employers in the region. Paul emphasized the company’s sense of responsibility, stating, “We have always taken that as a responsibility in that we consider ourselves good corporate citizens and try to give back to the community and always be in tune with Bulloch, Laurens and Lexington Counties.”

Aside from their headquarters in Bulloch County since 1945, Sack has offices in Dublin, Ga and Lexington, SC. Paul emphasized the company’s commitment to community engagement, saying, “We want to do everything we can to be contributing members to every community we serve.”

This recognition from the Statesboro-Bulloch Chamber of Commerce not only celebrates Sack Company’s success as an employer but also highlights its dedication to corporate social responsibility. As the company continues to grow and expand its reach, it remains steadfast in its commitment to making positive contributions to the communities it serves.

Madison Roesel, CPO, said “you can be awarded for your efforts all over the nation but there’s nothing like being recognized in your hometown and headquarters of more than 78 years. We’re very proud and humbled.”

Sack Company’s ethos will continue to value the most important things: its team members and their families, its responsibility as a corporate citizen, and its role in supporting the initiatives in the communities it calls home. Paul Roesel’s leadership and unwavering commitment to Bulloch County have undoubtedly played a pivotal role in earning the esteemed title of Employer of the Year.

Paul Roesel said, “We’re going to keep on doing what we’ve been doing since 1945 – getting better every year”.
