Electrical Service Supervisor
Electrical Service Supervisors are to provide technical and administrative management of service and small construction project activities
Reports to: Service General Manager, Electrical Service Manage
Duties & Responsibilities
The Supervisor is to supervise operations on assigned jobsites. The Supervisor is responsible for planning, scheduling, organization, coordination, direction, and control of all assigned field personnel. The Supervisor is to support hiring, training, and retention of field personnel. The Supervisor is to oversee quality assurance and quality control of installed work to ensure that it complies with scope of work and code requirements. The Supervisor is to assistServiceManager with execution and management of jobsite objectives. The Supervisor is to serve as point of contact with client(s) and to uphold positive relationships with stakeholders. The Supervisor is responsible for the general safety of all team members and subcontractors, including their own well-being, by adherence, enforcement, and promotion of workplace safety procedures outlined in the Safety Handbook. The Supervisor is expected to adhere to all company and site-specific Personal ProtectiveEquipment (PPE) requirements. The Supervisor may be assigned other duties as required
Qualifications
The Supervisor must have advanced knowledge of construction methods, troubleshooting, resource management, administration, and trade coordination. The Supervisor must be able to read, comprehend, interpret, and communicate information obtained from blueprints, models, and specifications. The Supervisor must be current on the latest codes associated with the construction trade in addition to the latest OSHA and state safety regulations. The Supervisor must have all applicable licenses and training necessary to perform assigned duties on the jobsite. The Supervisor must have knowledge of job cost reporting, manpower projections, and estimating
Working Conditions
The Supervisor must be willing and able to travel to assigned jobsite locations. The Supervisor must be able and willing to work atypical schedules necessary to complete assigned construction project(s), including nights and weekends
Tools Used
Shovels, tampers, drill motors, band saws, pipe benders, hydraulic punch, ratchet punch, meters, threading machines, hacksaws, ladders, scaffolding, lifts, excavators, and other machines and equipment used in the electrical trade
Protective Equipment
Safety glasses, safety-toe rated shoes, hard hat, verified appropriate gloves for task, hearing protection, safety harness, braces, respirators, ground fault protection, and other equipment as required when on-site
